This is the earliest version of the Icom IC-706 series of radios. It transmits 100 watts on 10-160 meters. It also covers the 6 and 2 meter bands, but only transmits 10 watts on 2 meters, which is normal for this model. These radios were the first hamshack in a box, and this particular radio has travelled twice to Sri Lanka while I used it as a DX station.
The radio comes with the original box, the operating manual, a power cord and a microphone.
